The Commercial Law Research Network Nigeria (CLRNN) in collaboration with the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Business Law (NBA-SBL) through the Restructuring and Insolvency Committee (RIC) launches the first survey on insolvency ethics in Nigeria.
The survey seeks to understand the ethical issues that arise in the insolvency practice of Nigeria by involving the participation of practitioners. Data is collected anonymously but participants who wish to engage further are invited to supply their names and email addresses at the end.
The results of the survey will be combined with the results of concurrent workshops to design recommendations to improve the ethics of insolvency practice in Nigeria. The outcomes will be published in a report that will be publicly available. The project is expected to improve the understanding and regulation of the ethical issues that arise in the insolvency practice of Nigeria.
This project is funded by the UK’s Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF), an arm of the UK’s official development assistance (ODA) that supports cutting-edge research addressing the challenges encountered in emerging economies.
The survey closes on 11 March 2023.
